Aldi School Competition Winners 2019

The lucky winners of last year’s amazing Aldi competition was a wonderful school in county Wexford.

Their original school yard was tarmac and was in desperate need of a little Sanctuary Synthetics magic.

Our sales director Dominic called out to do a site visit and assed exactly what needed to be done to the school yard to transform it in to a child friendly play area, he met with the school principal and they both came up with a design that would put there prize money to good use.
 

 As it was a primary school our main focus was in making the surface as safe as possible and as vibrant and as exciting for the children.

Our SCHOOLS artificial grass was the artificial grass of choice for this install. SCHOOLS grass is specifically designed for the school and creche market. 

It is a 10mm pile height grass, with short curled fibres making it the perfect versatile surface for all sports and general play time.   

We installed a shock pad foam underneath the artificial grass to act as padding to make the artificial grass a safe surface to run and play.  

We installed various colours of our SCHOOLS grass and incorporated some of our fun artificial grass designs to add another element of fun to this school yard.

What a transformation! 

We couldn’t think of a more deserving school to have won the 2019 Aldi schools competition.

This school now has a safe, attractive, maintenance free school yard with our guaranteed non slip, non-fade, friction/burn-free play grass.
