In the words of our friend Gearoid Lynch “The only place for pebbles is on the beach” and frankly we cannot agree more.
There seems to have been a splurge of requests in the past 3 weeks for us to come look at gardens that have no lawn but just lots and lots of loose stone pebbles. While they do look nice initially and are certainly a cost effective way of transforming large areas, they can be very user unfriendly when it comes to your regular family garden. Both kids and dogs hate them ! It’s not nice to play in a back garden that has been covered over with stones.
Here are some images of a few gardens we did in the past week and some of the other gardens which we have been called out to price up – we look forward to grassing them.
