Isn’t this a lovely space to sit out and enjoy the views of the Shannon ? It’s a penthouse apartment in Athlone, Co Westmeath / Roscommon.
The surface was a mixture of loose pebbles and wooden decking and it was the wood that was causing a problem – it was constantly slippery and dangerous. With a nice covering of artifical grass the area is now a lot brighter and more inviting to sit out on. Now…..where’s my book and my glass of wine?
