However, with a natural lawn, you will spend anything from €1,000 - €2,000 a year, when you factor in buying a lawnmower (probably four of them over a twenty year period), petrol, other garden materials, fertiliser, maybe even paying someone to do the grasscutting! Over twenty years it would appear you could produce substantial savings!
